Vidalia,
Mr. Parker Waller, age 59, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, March 14, 2018, in the Cedar Plantation in Metter, after an extended illness. He was a lifelong resident of Vidalia, and was a 1976 graduate of Vidalia Comprehensive High School. He retired from Georgia Power after twenty-eight years, and was a U.S. Army veteran. Parker was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Vidalia and the Miriam Wheeler Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Ohoopee Canoe Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Elsie Waller; and an infant sister, Angela Lynn Waller.
Mr. Waller is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Judy Waller; one daughter, Brooke Waller; one sister, Gail Waller, all of Vidalia; three brothers, Phil Waller and wife Maggie of Upland, California, Mike Waller, and Homer Waller and wife Chrystal, all of Vidalia; several nieces, nephews; and two special friends, Mark Miller and Hugh Blissett.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 24th at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Jose Caraballo and Reverend Don Moye officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 3:00 until just prior to the service.
