Norristown/Vidalia,

Mrs. Pam Stephens Hooks, age 45, of Norristown and formerly of Vidalia, died Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at her home, after a brief illness.  She was a native of Wayne County, where she grew up, attended Altamaha Technical College in Jesup and Brewton-Parker College in Mt. Vernon.  She was self-employed, and attended the Nunez Baptist Church.  She enjoyed the beach at Jekyll Island, cooking and decorating.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Andrew Obery.

Mrs. Hooks is survived by her husband, Keith Hooks of Norristown; four children, Amber Shambarger and Tyler of Cummings, A.J. Smith and fiancé Rachael of Hagerstown, Indiana, Trenton Stephens of Lyons, and Gracey Stephens of Lyons; two step-children, Crystal Hooks of Atlanta and John Hooks and wife Katelyn of Norristown; her parents, Danny and Marsha Harrell, Sr. of Lyons, and Sue and Wilton Sellers of Jesup; maternal grandmother, Nellie Nail of Baxley; three sisters, Samantha Heath and husband Brian of Saluda, Virginia, Rachel Kuhns and husband David of Jesup, and Lisa Harrell of Blackshear; three brothers, Danny Harrell, Jr. of Columbus, Earl Griffin of Douglas, and David Sellers and wife Barbara of Jesup; five grandchildren, Elija, Alana, Alice, Briley, and Madilyn, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, June 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Harrell and Reverend Elemer Caraway officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pinecrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Nunez Baptist Church or Calvary Way.
