Vidalia,

Mrs. Nell Sharpe Morris, age 79, of Vidalia, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 12, 2017.  She was a native of Vidalia, and lived all of her life in the Aimwell Community.  She retired from Harry Moses Construction Company after many years, serving as a bookkeeper.  She was an active member of the Smith Street Baptist Church.  She was a member of a local bridge group, enjoyed gardening, and loved her pets.  She was preceded in death by her husband, D.A. Morris; and parents, Oren and Macy Campbell Sharpe.

Mrs. Morris is survived by one son, Greg Morris and wife Amy; two grandsons, Andrew Morris and Jonathan Morris, all of Vidalia; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 15th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Chester Proctor and Reverend Jeff McCormick officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
