Vidalia,

Mrs. Nancy Lee Collins, age 75, of Vidalia, died Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  She was born in Connecticut, grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated high school there.  She moved to Jeff Davis County in 1961, returned to Jacksonville for many years, and has lived in Vidalia since 2004.  She worked with the Jacksonville Humane Society, was a dog groomer, and was the owner of the former Pets and Stuff in Vidalia.  She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, and was a former active member of the North Thompson Baptist Church where she led the Acteens Group.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen G. Sanders; step-mother, Virginia Sanders; and a brother, Bill Beckwith.

Mrs. Collins is survived by five children, Bobby Crabb and wife Sherie of Augusta, Scott Crabb and wife Loriann of Jacksonville, Donald M. Brantley, Jr. and wife Christiane of Vidalia, Marvin Brantley of Hazlehurst, and Tommy Brantley of Vidalia; one brother, Stephen Sanders and wife Janice of Vidalia; five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.   

A celebration of life will be held Monday, September 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the Grace United Methodist Church with Reverend Sue Jackson officiating.
