Lyons,
Mrs. Nancy Hall Clark, age 75, of Lyons, died March 19, 2018, in the Community Hospice House after an extended illness. She was a native of Johnson County and has lived in Toombs County since 1966. Nancy retired from Georgia State Prison in Reidsville and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lyons. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Shade Hall and Mattie Mae Wilson Hall; brother, Jimmy Hall; sisters, Mary Nell Carter, Maxi Groce, and Martha Grimes; and son, Wendall Harmon Peebles.
Mrs. Clark is survived by her devoted husband of thirty-three years, James S. "Jim" Clark of Lyons; daughter, Debra Churchville and husband Lee of Vidalia; stepson, Trey Clark and wife Stacey of McDonough; sister, Travis Sears of Dublin; sister-in-law, Angela Daniels of Lexington, South Carolina; grandchildren, Wendall Landon Peebles of Vidalia, Austin Clark, and Addison Clark, both of McDonough; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Rocker, Roxy, and Reba.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Lyons with Reverend Jim Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the church on Friday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
