Uvalda,

Mrs. Marsha Johnson, age 62, of Uvalda, died Friday, May 15, 2015 from injuries received in an automobile accident near the Center Community.  She was a resident of Montgomery County, lived in Orlando, Florida for a few years, and returned to Uvalda in 2014.  She was a homemaker, and attended the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Lona Mae Rowland Richardson; four sisters, Ilene Clark, Betty Mae Conner, Sue Vick, and Charlie Will Yerkes; and three brothers, Buddy Richardson, Steve Richardson, and Harold Richardson.  Marsha was a selfless person who made many sacrifices for her family.

Marsha is survived by her husband, Malvin Johnson; two sons, Richard Johnson and Kevin Johnson; one granddaugher, Aspen Johnson, all of Uvalda; two brothers, Raymond Richardson of Gainesville, Georgia and Lonnie Richardson and wife Kathy of Orlando, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Friday, May 22nd 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Reece Mincey and Ken Garrett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Sharpe Cemetery near Alston.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
