Mr. Malcolm Peterson, age 66, of Vidalia, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at Tattnall Health Center in Reidsville, after a sudden illness. He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, worked as a heavy equipment operator, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm Peterson, Sr. and Marcella Anderson; aunt, Betty Peterson; and one brother, Butch Anderson.

Mr. Peterson is survived by one daughter, Casey Peterson Miller and husband Sheldon of Vidalia; former wife, Linda Peterson of Vidalia; two brothers, Randy Anderson of Glenwood and Bubba Anderson of Dublin; one sister, Angie Anderson of Atlanta; and three grandchildren, Blaine, Bryce, and Kylin.

The memorial service will be held Sunday, January 15th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Efton Green officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
