Ailey,

Mrs. Lois Craft, age 86, of Ailey, died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation after an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and retired from Hartwell Manufacturing as a supervisor after thirty-one years. She was Baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Craft Sr.; parents, Doel and Mamie Powell; six brothers, and one sister.

Mrs. Craft is survived by two sons, Hollie Lee Fordham of Ailey, and Thomas Eugene Craft Jr. of Lyons; two sisters, Mamie Lucille Gauthreaux of Vidalia, and Nellie Ruth Craft of Ailey; four grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend W.R. Connell officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
