Dawson,

Miss Leecy Ann Williamson, age 84, of Dawson, died Monday, May 23, 2016 in Dawson, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Treutlen County, and has lived in the Albany area since 1966.  She retired from Freitex Sewing Company after thirty years of service, and later worked at Publix for ten years.  She was a member of the Mt. Shady Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmitt and “Dollie” Brantley Williamson, and one brother and four sisters. 

She is survived by two sisters, Emilie Beall and Bonnie Coleman; two brothers, Bobby Williamson and wife Bonnie, and Billy Williamson, all of Vidalia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Shady Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
