Lee "Petie" (Wiggins) Kendall

Mrs. Lee “Petie” Kendall, age 71, of Uvalda, died Saturday, February 10, 2018, at her home, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Daytona Beach, Florida, and lived there most of her life.  She lived in Deland, Florida for ten years, and has lived in Uvalda since 2001.  She worked at Woodland Towers Assisted Living for several years.  She attended Liberty Community Church near Hazlehurst.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Muir; and parents, Lee Wiggins and Blanch Byrd Wiggins.

Mrs. Kendall is survived by her husband of twenty-three years, Stanley Kendall of Uvalda; one daughter, Mary B. Foraker of Holly Hill, Florida; one step-daughter, Nicole Kendall of New Castle, Indiana; two step-sons, Kenneth Kendall of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Mark Kendall of Richmond, Indiana; one sister, Annette NeeSmith of Brantley County; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and two cousins, Nancy Byrd of Deland and Marjorie King of Winder.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17th at 2:00 p.m. in the Liberty Community Church with Pastor Virginia Harrington officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
