Kibbee Community,

Mr. Kyle Durden Edge, age 57, of the Kibbee Community, died Friday, May 26, 2017, in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  He was a native of Montgomery County, and lived in Kibbee all of his life.  He was the owner of Edge Drywall.  He enjoyed the outdoors, including motorcycling, and dirt track racing in Swainsboro.  He was preceded in death by his parents Bill Edge and Ida Mae Durden Edge; and a brother, Ray “Hobo” Edge, Sr.

Mr. Edge is survived by his wife of thirty-eight years, Rhonda Fields Edge of Kibbee; two children, Jennifer Kylie Edge Tidwell and husband Billy of Kibbee, and Kyle Shawn Edge and Brittney of Normantown; four grandchildren, Katelyn Jones, Damon Jones, Willie Durden Tidwell, and Madison Edge; one sister, Elaine Sterling of Rockledge; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 30th at 11:00 a.m. in the Edge Family Cemetery with Pastor Kenny Edge officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
