Lyons,

Mrs. Kimberly Powell Usher, age 51, of Lyons, died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  She was a native of Toombs County and lived in Lyons most of her life.  She was a sergeant with Toombs County Sheriff’s Office for ten years, and previously was with the Toombs Service Center for fifteen years.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lyons.

Mrs. Usher is survived by her husband, Jason Usher of Lyons; one son, Brock Aldrich of Vidalia; her parents, Bruce and Elouise Calhoun Powell; two sisters, Linda McGowan and husband James, and Sherry Burton and husband Kenny, all of Lyons; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Lyons with Reverend Jim Morrow officiating.
