Mr. Kenny Mizell, age 70, of Vidalia, died Friday, December 29, 2017 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness. He was a native of Portsmouth, Virginia and lived most of his life in Wrightsville before moving to Vidalia in 1993. He was the owner of Kenny’s Furniture, loved golfing, possessed a funny sense of humor, and had an innovative mind that enjoyed fixing clocks. He was a preceded in death by his mother, Amy Lord When and husband Ray; father, John Mizell and wife Sybil; and three siblings, Johnny Mizell, Patsy Mizell Skinner, and Pat Mizell.

Mr. Mizell is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Lou Mizell of Vidalia; four children, Kenny Mizell Jr. and wife Natalie of Douglas, Summer Behar and husband Sam of Lima, Peru, Karen Hoffman and husband Steve of New Mexico, and Shannon Mizell of Florida; four siblings, Frank Mizell and wife Lynn of California, Nancy Mizell of Wrightsville, Buddy Mizell , and Judy Mizell Brown both East Dublin; five grandchildren, Jarrett, Benjamin, Bethany, Jonathan, and Ellie; nephew, Steve Vertin and wife Laura and their children, Kaitlyn and Steven; and numerous other family members.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 2nd at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Sam Behar officiating. A private family burial will follow at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 3:00 until just prior to the service.
