Cedar Crossing Community,

Mrs. Josephine Harrison Toole, age 70, of Cedar Crossing, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah, after a brief illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, and lived in Cedar Crossing most of her life.  She was operations manager and co-owner of Lady Renee for many years.  She was a member of the Cedar Crossing Church of God where she and her husband pastored for twenty-nine years, and currently, the two of them were pastoring Free Chapel at Ocmulgee Christian in Lumber City where she served as church pianist for both churches.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Marilyn Davis Harrison; and a brother, Randy Harrison.

Mrs. Toole is survived by husband of fifty-two years, Reverend Bobby Toole; one daughter, Renee Toole Butler and husband Paul, all of Cedar Crossing; one brother, David Harrison and wife Angie of Bogart; one sister, Janice Harrison Reynolds of Macon; three grandsons, Alex Butler, Tyler Butler, and Jacob Butler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 11th at 2:00 p.m. in the Cedar Crossing Church of God with Pastor Steven Toole, Pastor Earl Wiggins, and Minister Gary Toole officiating.   Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Cedar Crossing Church of God beginning at 6:00 on Wednesday.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial contributions may be made to Free Chapel at Ocmulgee, 109 Currie Road, Uvalda GA 30473.
