Lyons,

Mr. Joseph Carroll, age 36, of Lyons, died Monday, May 11, 2015 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  He was born in White Cloud, Michigan, grew up in Wauchula, Florida, and has lived in Toombs County since 1986.  He was a truck driver and heavy equipment operator most of his life.  He worked with McLendon Enterprises, Cowart Farms, and presently was employed with SABE.  He attended Faith Assembly of God in Lyons, and was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Franklin Carroll and Ruby Deloris Carnley Carroll.

Joseph is survived by three children, Cameron Carroll, Makayla Carroll, and Madison Carroll all of Lyons; five siblings, Amy Davis and husband Phillip of Johnson Corner, Michelle Carroll of Johnson Corner, Tammy Wentland and husband Larry of North Carolina, Joey Carroll of Waverly, and Edward Ayers and wife Linda of Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, May 14th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Toole and Reverend Jarrell Lillard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Carroll Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
