Lyons,

Mr. Jody Lynn Oliver, age 40, of Lyons, died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from injuries received in an automobile accident.  He was a lifelong resident of the Ohoopee Community of Lyons, a 1992 graduate of Toombs County High School, and was a member of the Ohoopee Baptist Church.  He had been employed as a lineman with Pike Electrical for eleven years, and with Canoochee EMC, Reidsville, for five years.  His greatest love was looking after his children.  He was preceded in death by his two-year-old sister, Wendy Ann; maternal grandparents, Raphael (R.C.) Ansley and Lucille James Ansley; and paternal grandfather, Arnie Oliver, Sr.

Jody is survived by his wife, Tami L. Oliver of Lyons; five children, Cadence Oliver, Allyanna Oliver, Layton Poole, Dalton Kight, and Tristan Beasley all of Lyons;  parents, Arnie and LaFaye Ansley Oliver of Lyons, one brother, Michael Oliver and wife Priscilla of Lyons; paternal grandmother, Joan Taylor of Columbia, South Carolina; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral with Reverend Danny Autry and Johnny McCullough officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
