Mrs. Jethalene Morris Dickerson, age 90, of Vidalia, died Friday, June 23, 2017, in the Community House in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  She was a native of Oak Park, and moved to Toombs County in 1934.  She retired from Oxford Industries in Vidalia, and was Baptist by faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Dickerson; a son, Mike Guin; parents, Eddie Jackson Morris and Mary Shellie Coleman Morris; and four brothers, E.J. Morris, Buddy Morris, Bob Morris, and Dean Morris.

Mrs. Dickerson is survived by one daughter, Becky Wilkes of Dallas, Georgia; former daughter-in-law, Helen Sanders and husband Johnny of Uvalda; one sister, Lanette Beverly of Mobile, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Annette Morris of Augusta; five grandchildren, Kelly Guin Moses of Alston, Michael John Guin of Vidalia, Michael “Mike” Guin and wife Megan of Tarrytown, Suzan Vande Zande and husband Troy of Dallas, and Glenn Fountain of Gainesville, Georgia; eleven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, June 25th at 1:00 p.m. in Lakeview Memorial Gardens with Reverend Daniel Gilliam and Joe Chancey officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
