New Branch Community,

Mr. Jeff Sapp, age 60, of the New Branch Community, died Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Glenvue Health and Rehabilitation in Glennville, after an extended illness. He was a native of the New Branch Community, lived in Brunswick for fifteen years, and returned in 2012. He was self employed as a heavy equipment mechanic and was a member of Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sapp and Jackie K. Alexander.

Mr. Sapp is survived by his two children, Stephanie Shiver and husband Chris, and Sonny Sapp and wife Nikki all of Vidalia; one sister, Lisa Sapp McGahee and husband Jimmy of the New Branch Community; two aunts Jo Tankersley of LaGrange and Jackie Tiller of the New Branch Community; four grandchildren, Cealy Jae Shiver, Chandler William Shiver, Caden Monroe Sapp, and Tucker Reed Sapp; one step-grandson, Zachary Mason Hayes; and several cousins.

The memorial service will be held Saturday, December 16th at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Randy Usher, John Sanders, Ben Sanders, Richard Stanisky, Justin Stanisky, Seavy Jennings, and Mann Denmark.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brooks Rehabilitation at 3599 University Boulevard South, Jacksonville, Florida, 32216 to help benefit stroke victims and their families.
