Mr. Jason “Low-Lo” Jones, age 37, of Lyons and Savannah, died Thursday, October 20, 2016 in DeKalb Medical in Decatur, after a brief illness. He was a native of Toombs County, living in Lyons most of his life, and in Savannah for the past two years. He worked at Oxford Distribution Center in Lyons for fifteen years, and was Baptist by faith. Jason was a devoted Georgia Bulldog fan, loved photography, traveling, the beach, and vehicles.
Mr. Jones is survived by his life partner, Michael Wrachford of Savannah; his parents, Wiley and Jackie Jones of Lyons; one brother, Craig Jones and wife Crystal of Twin City; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins, including an aunt, Brenda Pittman and husband Lanier of Lyons.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 22nd at 2:00 p.m.in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Russell officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00 p.m. in the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Emanuel County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
