Normantown Community,

Mr. Gene Robinson, age 77, of the Normantown Community, died Monday, May 25, 2015 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Normantown, was a retired contractor, and worked with his son with Robinson Construction Company.  He was a member of the Normantown Baptist Church, and attended the First Baptist Church of Lyons.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Frost Robinson; son, Ricky Robinson; three sisters, Pauline Robinson Driggers, Ruth Robinson Boatright, and Louise Robinson James; three brothers, Charlie Elmer Robinson, P.E. “Bo” Robinson, and Bobby “Junior” Warren.

Gene is survived by his son, Randy Robinson and wife Kim; three grandchildren, Rich Robinson, Ruston Robinson, and Rileigh Robinson, all of Normantown; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the Pinecrest Cemetery with Reverend Dannie Williams officiating.
