Mrs. Frankie Sue Glaze, Age 81, of Vidalia passed Thursday April 2, 2015 at The Oaks Bethany Home in Vidalia after an extended illness.  She was a lifelong resident of Toombs County and worked for Oxford Manufacturing and the Palmetto Box Company for many years. She was baptized and was a member of the Smith Street Baptist Church as well as attended Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laborn and Merle Palmer; and one son, Rocky Allen Smith.

Mrs. Glaze is survived by her husband, William Wesley Glaze; one son, William Wade Glaze both of Vidalia; two daughters, Angelia “Ann” Sue Smith of McDonough, GA and Teresa Diane Smith of Byron, GA; three brothers, Paul Palmer and wife Shelby, Larry Palmer all of Vidalia, and Carlton Palmer and wife Sue of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one sister, Joyce Prescott of Tybee Island; and four grandchildren, Matthew Pearson, Justin Glaze, Tyler Glaze, and Macy Glaze.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 7th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
