Lyons,

Frank Edmond Odom, Jr., the son of Frank E. Odom Sr. of Hoboken and Sheila Wilkes of Johnson Corner, went to his heavenly home July 10, 2016, after a long battle with cancer.  Frank was the eldest of three sons and was born on February 21, 1978.  His brothers are Jamason Odom of Lyons and Blake Odom of Johnson Corner.  Although Frank had no sisters, his aunt, Gena Hutcheson, of Collins, was like a sister to him.  Frank also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Lana Odom and three nieces, Emily, Jansley and Jaylee, all of Lyons.  Frank was the first grandchild of Neron and Betty Odom and Barney and Maxine Wilkes.  Great grandparents were Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Odom, Mr. and Mrs. Frank King, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Wilkes.  Frank was employed as a visual associate at Belk in Vidalia.  While working there he enjoyed participating in Kid's Fest and dressing as Santa for the holidays.  Music, performing arts and travel were among his many interests.  Frank was a member of the Fitzgerald High School band for four years.  He was a 1996 graduate of Fitzgerald High School and attended ABAC in Tifton, Georgia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Toole officiating.
