Vidalia,

Mrs. Eleanor Boatright Robinson, age 88, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, March 18, 2015 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Emanuel County, and was a 1943 graduate of Oak Park High School.  She lived in Savannah for a few years, and has lived in Toombs County since the early 1950’s.  She was the co-owner of the former Robinson Roofing Company in Vidalia.  She was a member of the Vidalia Primitive Baptist Church, was on various boards with the Primitive Baptist Association, and was actively involved with Camp Hillview Church Camp.  She was preceded in death by her husband, P.E. “Bo” Robinson; four infant children; parents, Mordecai and Emma Lee Lamb Boatright; brother, William “Billy” Boatright; and sister, Grace Boatright Bragg.  She was well-known for her crafts, especially her Christmas stockings.

Mrs. Robinson is survived three children, Glenda R. Jacobs of Savannah, Terri Kennedy of Vidalia, and Robbie Robinson and wife Melody of Vidalia; one brother, Bobby Boatright and wife Mary, one sister, Margaret Boatright Cobb, all of Savannah; four grandchildren, Courtney Flanders of Gainesville, Georgia, Gordon Kennedy of Vidalia, Kelsie Kennedy of Vidalia, and Amanda Robinson Morris of Ailey; three great-grandchildren, Essie Cummings, Isabelle Cunnings, and Chloe Morris; several nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Lois Fleming, Sandra Ladrow, and Phillip Joyce.

The funeral service will be held Friday, March 20th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Elder Mike Gray, Elder Bill Torrance, and Steve Brown officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
