Edna Earle Suiter Grantham, 89, a long-time resident of Jackson, Mississippi, died Friday, April 17, 2015 in the Oaks at Bethany Nursing Home in Vidalia, Georgia, after an extended illness.  Edna Earle was born on July 16, 1925 in Meridian, Mississippi.  Edna Earle was a long-time member of Woodland Hills Baptist Church in Jackson, where she taught Sunday school for twenty-seven years.  She is preceded in death by a son, Chuck Grantham; a daughter, Cindy Grantham Long; and a brother, Herbert “Bubba’ Suiter.

She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Grantham, son Steve Grantham and his wife Judy of Vidalia, and granddaughter Virginia Collins of Atlanta, GA.

Memorials donations may be made to Woodland Hills Baptist Church, 3327 Old Canton Rd, Jackson, MS 39216 or the Baptist Children’s Village, 805 North Flag Chapel Road, Jackson, MS 39209.

A private memorial service will be held in the Oaks Bethany Nursing Home Chapel on Saturday, April 18th at 3:00 p.m. with Reverend Don Moye officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 until 7:00 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

A funeral service will be held at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland on Tuesday, April 21st at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, Mississippi.
