Lyons,

Mrs. Dovie Lee Mosley Wilkes, age 88, of Lyons, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at her brother’s home, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Toombs County, living in the Center Community for many years, and moved to Lyons in 1968.  She was a 1947 graduate of Lyons High School.  She worked at Lyons Manufacturing for thirty-three years and at Oxford Industries for seventeen years.  She was a member of the First Assembly of God and taught the Junior Boys Sunday School Class.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Dewitt “Junior” Wilkes; two children, Linda Faye Wilkes and Roy Raymond Wilkes; parents, Tommy and Ruby Mae Mosley; and two brothers, James Velton “Buddy” Mosley and Ivey T. Mosley.

Mrs. Wilkes is survived by one brother, Preston T. Mosley and wife Melba of the Johnson Corner Community; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor David Knight and Pastor Kevin Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Little Flock Cemetery in Tattnall County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
