Mrs. Doris Phillips Kolb, age 62, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at her home, surrounded by family, after a brief illness. She was a native of Vidalia, homemaker, and Baptist by faith. She loved her children, grandchildren, and reading novels. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hardy Wilkes and Mary Gillis; and her brother, Charles Wilkes.

Mrs. Kolb is survived by four children, Chris Brazell and wife Danielle of Brunswick, Ashley Hutcheson and husband Davey, Dillon Phillips and wife Holly, and Cameron Shaw and wife Brittany all of Vidalia; one sister, Deloris “Bubs” Jones of Brunswick; and six grandchildren, Chet, Chance, Chatham, Katie, Vanessa, and Lucy.

 A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Ashley’s home at 1413 Conaway-McDonald Road in Tarrytown for family and friends to gather.
