Vidalia,

Mrs. Doloris Riggs Durden, age 85, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, in The Oaks Bethany in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Bulloch County, and lived there until moving to Vidalia in 1954.  She was a homemaker, and a member of the Vidalia Primitive Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Durden; and her parents, Arthur Riggs and Myrtice Eugenia Phillips Riggs.

Mrs. Durden is survived by her husband Kenneth Durden of Vidalia; one daughter, Rebecca Durden Bridgeman of McDonough; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 3rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Vidalia Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Mike Gray officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Vidalia Primitive Baptist Church from 10:00 until just prior to the service.
