Vidalia,

Mrs. Dianne Vaughn, age 57, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, May 20, 2014 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a sudden illness.  She was a native of Oak Park, and lived in Vidalia most of her life.  She was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.  She was a loving mother and grandmother that made sure she showed in it in every way.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Jessie Mae McDaniel Vaughn Wesberry; one brother, Jerry Dean Vaughn; three sisters, Brenda Joyce Burke, Darlene Willis, and an infant sister.

Dianne is survived by one daughter, Angie Hitchcock and husband Rodney of Cedar Crossing; four grandchildren, Ashley Hitchcock, Brooke James, Madison Hitchcock, and Hunter Hitchcock; two nieces and one nephew.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Cedar Crossing Baptist Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
