Mr. David Robinson, age 60, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at his home after a sudden illness.  He spent all of his life in the Toombs County and Tattnall County area and moved to Vidalia in 2013.  He was a member of Calvary Way Church and drove a semi truck.  He loved fishing, driving his truck, and his dog, Misty. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Monroe Robinson and mother and stepfather, Lounell and James Powell.

Mr. Robinson is survived by one sister, Connie Robinson of Lyons; one brother, Allen Powell of Vidalia; one uncle, Julian Murray and wife Brenda of Lyons; and two aunts, Linda Dooley and husband Wilburn, and Betty Carol Smith all of Reidsville.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 8th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Elemer Caraway officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
