Vidalia,

Mr. Curtis E. Warnock, age 78, of Vidalia, died Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in the Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after a brief illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, was a lifelong farmer, and retired after thirty-eight and a half years from Southern States (Gold Kist).  He was a Christian and worshiped his Lord and Savior as a Deacon and member of the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Kibbee.  He enjoyed Growing his garden, and sharing the fruits of his labor with family, neighbors, and friends.  He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.  He was preceded in death by his first wife of thirty years, Bernise Taylor Warnock; parents, Julius and Bonnie Palmer Warnock a brother, Garrett Warnock; and sister-in-law, Harvie Calhoun Warnock.

Mr. Warnock is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years, Maggie Sue Warnock of Vidalia; two daughters, Tami Britt and husband Shannon of Higgston, and Kim Ford and husband Frank of Fairfax Station, Virginia; one son, Mark Warnock and wife Teresa of Vidalia two step daughters, Sheala Golden and husband Larry of McRae, and Peggy Clements and husband Don of Dublin; one brother, Emmit Warnock of Kibbee; sister-in-law, Ruby Nell Warnock of Vidalia; eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, November 14th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Dr. Keith Tipton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 until 8:00.
