Vidalia,

Mrs. Clara Dean, age 84, of Vidalia, died Friday, June 19, 2015 in the Bethany Nursing Center in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was born in Pavo, Georgia, lived in Florida for several years, in Moultrie for three years, and has lived in Toombs County since 1966.  She worked at Globe Manufacturing in Vidalia for many years, and was a member of the Snow Hill Church of God.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dean; parents, Floyd and Victoria Coker, and ten siblings.

Mrs. Dean is survived by one son, Bobby Dean and his former wife Sandra Dean of Vidalia; three grandchildren, Micheal Dean and wife Katrina of Statesboro, Tony Dean, and Shane Dean and Jennifer, all of Vidalia; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Doyle Connell officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
