Lyons,

Mrs. Claire Coulliette Williams, age 79, of Lyons died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Community Hospice House in Vidalia, after an extended illness. She was a native of Marianna, Florida and spent most of her life in Toombs County. She worked for Meadows Memorial Hospital for ten years and then Toombs Nursing Home for twenty-five years. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God, where she was on the prayer team. She was a devoted Christian, extravagant cook, and loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999, James Williams; parents, George and Janey Coulliette; and seventeen brothers and sisters.

Mrs. Williams is survived by three children, Gloria Williams Minick and husband Tom of Marietta, Paul Williams and wife Shannon, and Joel Williams and wife Angela all of Lyons; two brothers, Ralph Coulliette and wife Diane of Dothan, Alabama and Paul Coulliette and Vernita of Alexandria, Virginia; two sisters, Rachael Chadwick and Addie Lee Hardin both of Phenix City, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Andrew, Noah, Alston, Michael, Joses, Avery, Alexis, and Skyla; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 28th at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Kevin Collins and Reverend Jose Caraballo officiating. Burial will follow in the Braddy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 until just prior to the service.
