Lyons,

Miss Cassy M. Dorsey, age 30, of Lyons, died Sunday, January 22, 2017 in the Community Hospice House.  She was a lifelong resident of Lyons, and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons. Cassy loved babies, and the elderly, and was always concerned about someone that was sick or hurt.  She enjoyed driving the golf cart, big trucks blowing their horn, meeting new people, and shaking their hand.  She also enjoyed going to the beach, and traveling.

Cassy is survived by her attentive parents, Terry and Cathy Dorsey; one brother, Buck Dorsey and wife Cheyenne, and their daughter Harmony; one sister, Kate Alison Dorsey, all of Lyons; paternal grandparents, Edward and Wynoka George of the Center Community; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Carolyn Sears of the McGregor Community; and several aunts and uncles, including a special aunt Joy Bailey of Vidalia.

The funeral service will be Tuesday, January 24th at 3:00 in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Russell and Pastor Wayne McDaniel officiating.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until just prior to the service.
