Mr. Brad NeeSmith, age 35 of Uvalda, died Thursday, September 22, 2011. He was a native of Montgomery County and lived there most of his life. He was a self employed carpenter, and was a member of the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church. Brad had a passion for singing, especially gospel music. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John L. and Mozelle Sanders; and his paternal grandfather, Hugh Vernon NeeSmith.
Brad is survived by his wife Mandi NeeSmith of Uvalda; three step-children, Layla, Jaden, and Tre Davenport; his mother, Patty Sanders Johnson of Uvalda; his father, Lynn NeeSmith of Cedar Crossing; one brother, Shawn NeeSmith and wife Ashley of Uvalda; paternal grandmother, Betty NeeSmith of Vidalia; three aunts, one uncle, one niece and nephew, and numerous cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 25th at 11:00 in the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Pastor Reece Mincey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mosley Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cedar Crossing Baptist Church beginning at 6:00 pm Saturday.
