Uvalda,

Mrs. Beulah Craft Adams, 94, affectionately known as “Ma Beulah”, died Sunday, May 24, 2015 in The Oaks at Bethany in Vidalia, after an extended illness.  She was a native of Montgomery County, and lived most all of her life in Uvalda and the Charlotteville Community.  She was employed at Hazlehurst Manufacturing for many years, and was a member of the Charlotte United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed fishing at Dead River.  She was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Adams; parents, John Martin Craft and Dessie Lou Magness Craft; siblings Jack Craft, Penny Poole, Mary Smith, Johnnie Lou Craft, Sara Goff, Roy Craft, Eustes Craft, Rastus Craft, J.P. Craft, and 2 infant siblings; and son-in-law James O’Neal, Sr.

Mrs. Adams is survived by three children, John Alfred Adams and wife Sandra of Lyons, Danny Hugh Adams and wife Anella of Vidalia, and Gail Adams O’Neal of Lyons; seven grandchildren Shawnee Adams of Lyons, Allison Barr of Vidalia, James O’Neal, Jr. of Macon, Scott Adams of Uvalda, Dawn Lee of Lyons, Chris Adams of Vidalia, and Mindy Sumner of Vidalia;

six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 27th at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Wilson and Pastor Reece Mincey officiating.  Burial will follow at Moseley Cemetery in Montgomery County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 noon until just prior to the service.
