Collins,

Mrs. Betty Davis Harrelson, age 69, of Collins, died Sunday, October 22, 2017, at her home, after a brief illness.  She was a native Toombs County, and moved to Collins in 1997.  For the past nineteen years she was office manager for Rayonier Advanced Materials, and was Baptist by faith.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Harrelson; parents, Merlon and Cornelia Daniels Davis; and two brothers, Willie Davis and George L. Davis.

Mrs. Harrelson is survived by three children, Grace Angie Lanier and husband Tommy of Collins, Cass Buttersworth of Valdosta, and Joel Buttersworth of Collins; two sisters, Melba Davis and Sharon Mack and husband Eric of Collins; three brothers, Johnny Davis and wife Pam, Jehugh Davis of Collins, and Billy J. Davis of Lyons; three grandchildren, Jacob Buttersworth of Goldsboro, North Carolina, Kayla B. Odum and husband Aaron of Claxton, and Jesica Lanier of Collins; one great-grandson, Bryson Odom of Claxton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor David Lamm officiating.  Burial will follow in the Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00.
