Mrs. Audrey McGahee Kight, age 63, of Reidsville, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia after a brief illness. She was a native of Lyons and lived most of her life in Tarrytown before moving to Reidsville in 2001. After thirty-two years of service, she retired from Handy Andy Home Warehouse as an office manager. She loved to bake and had Audrey’s Sweet Things for the past twelve years as well being the secretary and treasurer of K&K Utility Construction. She was Baptist by faith and was preceded in death by her father, Olan McGahee.

Mrs. Kight is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Mitchell Kight of Reidsville; one daughter, Jamie Kight Simmons and husband Johnny of Claxton; mother, Lavette McGahee; one brother, Jimmy McGahee and wife Lisa; one sister, Patricia Williams all of Lyons; twin granddaughters, Jenna and Jordan Simmons; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 25th at 11:00 am in the chapel of the Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with George Powell officiating. Burial will follow in the Tarrytown City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
