Kibbee Community,

Mrs. Ann Braddy Cannady, age 62, of the Kibbee Community, died Saturday, October 19, 2013 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia after an extended illness.  She was a native of Montgomery County and lived in Kibbee most of her life.  She worked at Royden Wear in Ailey for many years, part-time as an Avon Representative, and most recently at T.A. Blocker General Store in Kibbee.  She was a member of the Ailey Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by two husbands, Bobby Cannady in 2005 and Lamar Fountain in 1981.  Ann enjoyed fishing, bowling, people, and going to church.

Mrs. Cannady is survived by her parents, Aubrey and Janet C. Braddy of Kibbee; six siblings, Glenn Braddy and wife Nancy of the Orland Community, Sue White and husband Jerry, Jerry Braddy all of Kibbee, Betty Braddy Robinson and husband Rob of Carrollton, Michael Braddy and wife Wanda of Kibbee, and Martha Braddy Garrett of Vidalia; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Junior Bellflower.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, October 22^nd at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend C.B. Easterlin and Reverend Owen Waters officiating.  Burial will follow in the Braddy Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
