Mr. Amos B. Williams, age 79, of Conyers, died Monday, March 20, 2017, in the Glenwood Health and Rehabilitation in Decatur, after a brief illness.  He was a native of the Kibbee Community in Montgomery County, and was a 1955 graduate of Kibbee High School.  In 1956, he moved to Atlanta and started learning the drywall business.  He later founded Amos B. Williams Drywall Contractor which he operated for thirty years.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Williams; parents, James Franklin Williams and Sidney Thompson Williams; one sister, Edith Williams Trimble; and three brothers, Marcus Williams, Ronald Williams, and James Williams.

Mr. Williams is survived by his step-son, Evan Brook and wife Renee of Cumming; one sister, Mary L. Merritt and husband Jack of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.

The graveside funeral service will be held Friday, March 24th at 2:00 p.m. in the Braddy Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Collins officiating.
